Both for leisure and competition, I’ve been sailing since childhood, mainly in the mid-Atlantic region. In college I sailed up and down the east coast and got to see many very talented sailors. I have also completed multiple navigation and seamanship courses. I currently sail on Momentous, docked in the Baltimore Harbor, along with the Baltimore City Yacht Association and Downtown Sailing Center.

Adventurous eating should lead to adventurous cooking. My kitchen is overrun with spices and ingredients from around the world. I like to cook nice plates for friends and family, and, a lot of times, just myself. Going out to special dining experiences usually ends up in getting the supplies to try it for myself.
